Peter Bristow

Peter is a highly experienced property lawyer, whose areas of expertise include complex freehold and leasehold property transactions. Based at the Lewes office, Peter advises private clients on a wide range of property related issues. Peter also heads the firm's intervention team, which on behalf of the Solicitors Regulation Authority carries out interventions into other firms of solicitors.

Barry Davis.

Barry Davis

Barry qualified in 1984 after studying Law at the University of London. He joined the firm in 1985, working on Criminal Law, Family Law and general litigation. Barry now heads up the firm’s Personal Injury Team and specialises in Personal Injury and Civil and Commercial Litigation. He is currently based at the Gildredge Road office after four years in Tunbridge Wells.

David has a broad experience of business affairs and is able to deploy expertise in company commercial work, employment law and commercial property. Peggy Hall

Peggy, who is based at the firm’s Eastbourne office, is head of the firm’s Probate, Trusts and Wills Team and specialises in probate and private client work including wills, administration and domestic conveyancing. She has particular expertise in dealing with the needs of older retired clients.

Lee Hills.

Lee Hills

Lee joined Mayo Wynne Baxter in August 2008 from a major regional law firm where he was head of the liability insurance department and travel sector team. Lee is recognised as an expert in travel and aviation liability and defendant liability claims by Legal 500 and Chambers and described as 'a leader in the field of travel law'. His clients include a range of tour operators, travel agents, insurers, brokers and companies serving the travel industry. An accredited mediator in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Lee is also a member of numerous industry and business associations including the Forum of Insurance Lawyers, The Institute of Travel and Tourism, The Travel and Tourism Lawyers Association (committee member), The International Forum of Travel and Tourism Advocates and is an ABTA travel industry partner. Lee is also the head of the Litigation team.

Linda Lamb

Linda is based at the firm’s Brighton office and specialises in family law. Linda is a member of the Law Society's Family Law Panel and Children Panel, as well as the Law Society Mental Health Review Tribunal Panel and the Eastbourne Domestic Violence Forum. She is an accredited specialist with Resolution, a Family Mediator with the Family Mediators Association and is qualified to see the children within mediation. Linda is also a qualified collaborative lawyer.

Alan Larkin

Alan joined Mayo Wynne Baxter in August 2008 as a Partner in the firm's Family Law team. Alan has specialised exclusively in family work for 12 years with a previous background in the public and voluntary sectors. His specialisms include finances upon divorce, civil partnership dissolution and co-habitation disputes and has additional expertise in Inheritance Act disputes and contentious probate matters. As well as being a member of Resolution, Alan is an accredited specialist with Resolution and is an accredited collaborative lawyer.

John Lingwood

John is a member of the firm’s Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury Team and has a wealth of experience in dealing with both high value and clinical negligence claims. Based at the Brighton Office, John is a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority's Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme and is an accredited Litigator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. As well as pursuing claims for damages John also acts as a Court of Protection appointed Deputy for brain injured patients.

Melanie Minter

Melanie has practised in Clinical Negligence law since 1990 and is head of the firm's Clinical Negligence Team and its Catastrophic Injury Unit. The team achieved Band 1 status in Chambers in 2009, achieving praise for the quality of advice given to clients, whilst Melanie gains recognition for 'getting right to the heart of the matter'. Melanie has conducted all types of clinical negligence claims from low value to multimillion pound claims. Melanie is a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority Clinical Negligence Panel and the AvMA Referral Panel and is also a qualified nurse.
